Massifs harmonieux, édens des flots tranquilles,
D'oasis aux fleurs d'or innumerable networks,

Bosquets that the wave rocks to the sweet song of birds,
Zephirs and picturesque nests asylums,
Mysterious and fresh labyrinth, Thousand Islands,
Chapelet of emerald ginned on the waters.

When I first saw, under your shades,
the magical reflections of your brilliant mirages,
a warm June sun gilded your green shelters;

intoxicating scents went from woods to strikes;
And I thought I saw this beautiful land of dreams
